in game .pdf viewer - esp. VR
Does anyone know if there is an in game .pdf viewer so I can see airport plates, etc whilst in game. This is specifically for VR as this is simple enough using windows when not in VR.
Thanks

What VR Headset do you use? There are various methods but some need added APP e.g. Most SteamVR: OVR Drop, DailyOVR, OVR Toolkit but may require Chrome/Firefox Browser to work and may or may not load into the Game but require Steam Overlay. Oculus Pinned Windows should work. It would not matter what Window they are. A PDF is just a Browser Window. Ideally be using Navigraph or Simbrief else some other free sites e.g.
https://flightplandatabase.com/planner (can export PLN into World Map)
https://grd.aero-nav.com/ (just to Copy the basic Flight Plan without needing Plates as Runways are given by ATC)
Only the A32NX, CRJ & TBM930 WT G3000 Mod (along with Improvement Mod) has connection to Simbrief for VR.

I use the HTC Vive Pro. I have OVR so will try that along with your recommendations. Thanks.

I have the G2 so I would have to have gone from WMR to SteamVR except I could not get that to work last time I tried but was during a period of the huge fps drops via Update 4. I may try again only I've not seen anybody posting that working. Such a waste for WMR and is not for lack of cpu as it uses other threads not the Game thread. I've used this with loads of pinned Windows for Oculus in the past and no hit to fps.

I use Sim EFB:

I actually use it mostly for viewing road maps to navigate between farmstrips visually, but you can use it for many things - it's one of the best utilities I have ever bought for a flight sim - and perfect in VR.

Thanks - I'll give sim-efb a go.

If you haven't stumped up the cash for that yet and want to check out a free alternative...

Thanks for this. I checked it out and it would have provided exactly what I was looking for in the OP. But I had already purchased Sim-EFB on Johnny's recommendation - and the functionality of this programme is really good - particularly the moving map and the way it saves all the data/sheets/images for airports so it's readily available for future flight planning. Props for highlighting a free to use option. Thanks again.

Yeah I suspect the payware version would likely be more user friendly when it comes to configuring things.
