Create a copy of :
Saitek_Pro_Flight_X-56_Rhino_Stick.xml
Saitek_Pro_Flight_X-56_Rhino_Throttle
Rename the copy as :
Saitek_Pro_Flight_X-55_Rhino_Stick.xml
Saitek_Pro_Flight_X-55_Rhino_Throttle.xml
You will need after to change the line 3 of each file to :
<Device DeviceName="Saitek Pro Flight X-55 Rhino Stick" GUID="745a17a0-74d3-11d0-b6fe-00a0c90f57da" ProductID="2215">
<Device DeviceName="Saitek Pro Flight X-55 Rhino Throttle" GUID="745a17a0-74d3-11d0-b6fe-00a0c90f57da" ProductID="A215">
I have no try myself yet as I'm still downloading the game, but I see no reason it should not work, both device are very close exept the throttle which have a ministick.
This seems to have worked for me! Though I did it myself and didnt have these GUIDs (so maybe it matches on PID or Name?)
Try searching your hard drive for one of the mentioned files. It may not be in the same folder, but the file name should be the same. You can also use an alias like "saitek_pro_" (without the quotes) although this may take longer as Search has to do more work.
Make sure Windows Explorer is running in Admin Mode.
Clear your profile from the profiler.. Then everything should be able too.
Yep, this worked for me too. Thanks!
it's not a typo PID for the Throtthle is A215, and for the stick 2215.
Ran into the same issue on my son’s setup - he is running the ms store version. Disappointing! Someone at Microsoft needs to realize this is not pleasing to the customers, the way they prevent basic access to config files in their app store drm.
