Logitech Extreme 3D Pro throttle problem
Slider for the throttle goes from high idle to high throttle making control of the basic Cessna impossible. Slider won't bring rpms down to a normal idle. Settings moved all the way back to 0 on reactivity but still jumps and does not idle down for a slow taxi. Any help? Reviews were good for this stick but not for me so far.

You may have to adjust the sensitivity of the throttle in control settings.

Logitech Extreme 3D Pro throttles are the first thing to go bad. I've owned two LE 3D pros and they served well until their throttles went bad. It's just a little flipper/potentiometer. My Hotas X on the other hand has a big beefy throttle unit/lever and has never come close to any type of failure or issue of any kind.

Replace it with something newer.

I had similar issues on my PC with Windows 11. Logitech does not provide drivers for this OS. Read elsewhere may also not work with some Windows 10 latest updates. It's a very old controller, dating back to at least 2010.

You shouldn't need any drivers so long as it's an HID compliant device.

For example, Windows has no issue detecting my CH gear, and they've been using essentially the same electronics since the late 1990s when they converted to USB.

Run joy.cpl and see what the device is detected as. There's a very good chance Windows will recognise it as is without installing specific drivers.
