Problem with T16000M Hotas.. Please Help

So, before flight simulator came out I got myself the T16000M Hotas, it came with everything. I bought the flight pack.. anyways. My gaming computer hasn’t been working all that well, so my neighbor let me borrow his ASUS gaming laptop (pretty nice laptop) however when I plug everything in.. the computer doesn’t detect the joystick as a gaming controller. However the peddles are listed under controllers. The thing I don’t understand is why the computer knows it’s a joystick, but won’t let me do anything. Even when I type the .joy something (I forgot what the command was) it doesn’t even show up. I’ve uninstalled drivers, installed the drivers again. Nothing is working. Please how do I get this damn joystick to work.

You installed the Official Drivers and not Windows Default yes? You do not need T.A.R.G.E.T.
The FLIGHT PACK is the FCS by the way but looks to be same Driver anyways.
Be sure you also install

Also you must plugin the devices before starting the Game. I always plug in the Stick before Throttle as some Games get these mixed up. That's all.
