I guess the multi-monitor support is in the 'Experimental' section for a reason. It needs a lot more work before I'd call it particularly useful.
With four monitors, I'd probably use Surround (or Eyefinity) for three and then use the fourth as an ancillary monitor for charts, pop-out instruments, etc. How were you intending to lay them out? Three across and one above? Three across and one below?
The 2 wasnt going to be exactly 90 degrees but set up at about 45 degrees just so I had space and not boxed in but then be able to see outside the 2 windows without having to rely on head / eye tracking software.
