MS-FS shutdown my whole PC
Good day,
I wanted to ask if anyone has the same problem or has had at some time.

The problem:
I start the game, it checks for updates, if updates are available it installs them, I load into the game. As soon as I can select whether I want to fly world or otherwise, my PC shuts down completely.
No error message anywhere, no blackbox, nothing.

Hints: All other games work, be it LS2022, COD, CS:GO, no matter which one I list, not a single game causes my PC to shut down or emergency crash.
I have monitored the temperatures and always look normal until shutdown.

PC Hardware:
Processor: AMD Ryzen 3600X
Graphics card: Asus Strix Gaming Readon 5700XT
Memory: 64 GB 3600 RAM
Storage: Game is on Sata SSD.

All drivers are up to date.
Game is up to date.

Maybe someone knows a hint how I could get a fews to the error, have already searched a lot, nowhere hints.
I also tried to log the system with "Adrenaline", but the log was never saved.

with kind regards

Have you tried checking the temperatures of your pc? If it is too high, it causes your pc to shutdown. Try hwinfo or hwmonitor

Please also provide the exact PSU model you are using, because that is really typical behaviour of a crappy or defective PSU cracking under higher load.
i use Be Quiet! Straight Power 11 Platinum 850W PC Power Supply, 4X PCIe, Black
from https://www.amazon.de/dp/B083T9STQS/ref=pe_3044161_189395811_TE_SCE_dp_2?th=1

the temperatures was about 83°C on GPU and on CPU about 54°C, so for me it seems normal.
the funny thing is, about 3 months ago I could play the game without problems. wanted to start it again and then this. very strange.
if you want I can also upload a video of the temperatures, it could only film with the phone

with kind regards

Try clicking on the Start menu, then start typing "Reliability History" (without the quotes) and review the report. Look for critical events, especially hardware related ones. Double-click on them to view the details.

I suspect you have a heat or voltage problem.

Try using your drivers or RTSS to limit the framerate.

Well i would send you the results, but theres nothing,
My pc is in this mood, it starts the game, search for updates, then loading and direct after loading the whole PC is turned off, so there is nothing what said "Thats about this and this"
And yes probably it have voltage problems or something else, but what i dont get is, that it worked 3 month ago without probs and now the PC is turning off?

I would give it a try, but i tried to fix the framerate with adrenaline but i don´t find it yet, i will search again.

thanks for all answers, i´m gonna testing with the settings maybe i find something, if not then i will probably get a new PSU, but i was hopeing that this is a good PSU cause it wasnt cheap and got PLatin blabla inside :O
ok Guys, i probably find the bad guy,
First of all i found the FPS Limiter in adrenaline, i used this, i have no idea if it workes now cause of it but i guess i find the real problem.
In the steam setting there was saying, MS FS in VR mode, and i guess it causes the issues, i think i can play now, i was flying now 5 min without any crash, seems good and wanted to share my results :)

how i said, thanks for trying me helping <3

I moved my PC. Every time I Play MSFS2020 the PC would shut off within a few minutes. I moved my PC away from the wall and all is well.

My DELL 8950 has a grill on the left panel and even though it has no Fans on that side it does have sensors to alert too hot by this panel if it is near something. The one time MSFS did crash my PC it was the start of an eventual meltdown and needed replaced M/B, CPU, and I even upgraded the PSU. Also be sure if using any UPS that it does have more Watts than your PSU is as a precaution when it uses Battery Backup. If your PSU is at the bottom of the case like my daft DELL, then be sure you raise it on chocks off the floor to reduce heat.

When your PC crashes anytime be sure you use:
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
SFC /SCANNOW

as here else any installs may go bad especially critcal BIOS Updates as mine had...
