I will caveat it by saying that Saitek/Logitech have been said to be plagued by quality control issues over the years; I have never personally been affected by them, but as I said mine is about 12 years old so it could have been before all that. I have a new yoke that is also fine, so maybe they've resolved them or I've just been lucky all these years.
Thrustmaster also makes fine stuff so you probably can't go wrong either way. I *think* the x52 has more buttons on it should you wish to use it for something like DCS or Elite or another flight/combat game.
1) it’s much cheaper
2) you can use it with combat sims or anything you want
In theory you can try and set up TCA for any plane you want but it’s a lot of pain.
