Edit - I'm assuming you only have integrated as you didn't mention what GPU you have however if you do have a discreet make sure you set in whatever GPU's control panel to use your high performance graphics and not your integrated as that CPU does have integrated graphics so it sounds like MS Flightsim is using your Integrated
Only other info I found was the computer name which is "DESKTOP-V4CSN1Q". What I don't understand is how can my pc run ray tracing with the highest graphics and large textures in minecraft at 1080p, but not flight simulator at literally 640p, lowest settings. Like the flight simulator graphics looked like a game on windows 95. How could it possibly need a better GPU to render such trash. It's not adding up at all. The freezing also didn't show any differences between 1080p medium graphics and 640p lowest graphics. No difference, it kept dropping frames at the same rate.
Important settings to make it look good, set as high as can while watching usage, including gpu ram usage:
TERRAIN VECTOR DATA = High as you can go
BUILDINGS = High as you can go
TREES = High as you can go
GRASS AND BUSHES = High as you can go
VOLUMETRIC CLOUDS = High as you can go
The big killer is the Render Scaling slider.
You need to find the sweet spot for your system. Start low and improve it.
6 years on Steam and the available info on the profile plus previous names smells.
When you mean you played Minecraft with raytracing did you play the bedrock raytracing beta or was it the Java edition? Java edition does not support ray tracing the closest you can get is Seus PTGI shaders which are "PATH" traced global illumination not "RAY" you don't need RT cores for that but you do for the Minecraft RTX beta.
You do realize there is a high chance that Regular Unkickable Name is just trolling?
Yawn
Are you guys serious? I just got back on this account it's been years. My profile is ridiculous so I can understand if you think I'm trolling but I actually just want to play this game. The only other game I play is minecraft and that obviously is not on steam. I know it might be humorous that I would compare minecraft to a game like flight simulator. But I thought my point had relevance because surely ray tracing on any game will be intensive. And surely if I can run ray tracing on any game. I should be able to run a game with the lowest settings at 640p.
Can we take this seriously, I'm not here to waste anyone's time, I simply want help as I paid good money for this game.
