RTX 3090 = 20 FPS

So I just got my RTX 3090 installed and everything set up. Tested out some games with some awesome performance gains. Tested out ray tracing and all that. Card is most certainly working and is being used by all my games but with everything set to high end im only getting 20 FPS and its stuck at 20 tried ultra settings and also 20 FPS so idk what the deal with that is

Specs:
i7 8700
32 gb DDR4 ram
RTX 3090 24 gb

Might be an early driver issue, I'm mostly in the low to mid 50s, Ultra @1080 with a 2080ti and that's with res scaling set at 120%.

Possibly, I was getting 30-40 fps on high settings with my GTX 1080 founders edition card. So idk

Spending ridiculous amounts of money is the only thing that brings me joy. I also love peoples reactions to what I spend money on. Its so much fun. Also having the money to blow and still living comfortably is a lot of fun too!

haha, i dont think anyone cares how much money you have to blow, enjoy it. I think what I'm saying is your resolution you're playing at and the rest of your specs don't match the 3090. So you spend money on your 3090, now go out and get top of the line CPU and top of the line 1440p/4k monitor, now the rest of your system matches! Better yet, you said you got money to blow, so go ahead and SLI that thing! enjoy.

you're welcome, glad i can inform people to make things even better for them. Also, if you didn't know the 3090 can do 8k so that's something to consider, getting an 8k monitor or TV
