King Air Altimeter Setting
Where do I set the altimeter setting in the King Air 350? The baro knob is inop and I can't find it in any of the touchscreens.

click Ctrl+ 2 there you can adjust altimeter. For standard you still need to use "b" on your keyboard (above 18000 feet even in Europe) beause manual adjustment to 29.92 will not be accepted by the ATC and it complains about a wrong flight level.

I always just use B. For me it's not worth fighting trying to dial a knob in the sim, fighting with labels covering the knobs, etc. In a real aircraft it's so quick and easy to set the altimeter or sync the DG with the mag compass but in the sim it's a PITA.

Aw, dang. It's fine in the US/Canada because the Transition Altimeter/Transition Level is 18000', but in other places in the world, this is different, and not being able to set it manually seems like quite a handicap, especially if taking a plane like this online on say Vatsim or something :/

Update: I guess there is a way to map a keyboard command to set the altimeter. Using shift and cntl B to set it seems to work. Not ideal, but king air fliers can use this now too.

yes, there are many important things not assigned by default. In most GA aircraft are two fuel tanks and you need to switch them manually. Unfortunaly not all aircraft have that switch and if you do not have a keybind assigned your engine shutdown when the first fuel tank is empty. The only way to avoid a crash is to use the fuel menu and restart the engine, but that feels like cheating.
There are tons of unassigned commands and I'm not sure if one is able to assign them all to a keyboard.
