Go into options and then controls options. Select the controller you want to assign the reset view button to, make sure the filter in the lower left says "ALL", and then in the box on the left directly under "SEARCH" type in VR.

You should then see "VR - Camera Reset". Assign your button and then get in a comfortable position looking straight ahead and hit the button. This should set your view in the correct place.

You may also want to setup the Cockpit focus (this helps if you can't read something well enough, but with the reverb you shouldn't have too much trouble with reading gauges), Toolbar toggle and the activate/deactivate controls as well. The Misc stuff is up to your preferences.

I forget how to set custom camera position as it's been a while since I've gone for a flight. I've been concentrating on Elite Dangerous in VR recently, but you can find several good vids on YouTube on how to set custom camera. These couple of channels should get you started --- Overkill simulations and SimHanger Flight Simulation should get you headed in the right direction.

For VR settings check out VR flight Sim Guy and Pie in the sky tours. They have some good vids to dial in that performance.

If you edit cameras.cfg under the aircraft folder you can fine tune your starting position so you don't have to adjust your seat every time you get in the airplane. The aircraft folder will be under your packages folder (they will be in the Official and Community folders). Look for the line in cameras.cfg - Title="PilotVR" under one of the [CAMERADEFINITION.XX] sections and edit the numbers towards the bottom of the section labeled InitialXyz= 0.000, 0.000, 0.000 (numbers are just an example, every plane will be different. It's usually one of the last camera definitions. The numbers correspond to X = -left to right+, Y = +up to down- and Z= +forward to back-. Don't make drastic changes since a little change goes a long ways. You may place yourself way outside the aircraft. I found it best to use Developer Mode and then used the aircraft loader to reload the aircraft after I edited the file and saved it. This saves the time from having to restart FS2020 after each change. I'll make a small change, reload the aircraft and see if I'm happy with where it puts me. If not, I'll make another small change and save the file and reload the aircraft until I'm happy with the results. I have also created a spread sheet to record my x,y,z numbers since when the aircraft gets updated it reverts back to where the developer thinks you should sit. I started doing this after the Carenado Cessna 182 put my seating position on the floor staring at my pedals after one of their updates. Now when I get in the aircraft wearing my G2 I'm sitting perfectly in the seat.
