Installation Manager

After latest update on December 6/23 the game is stuck on Installation Manger page. Files have been verified and game uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. App ID is 1250410 and build ID is 12839989. Game will not start even in safe mode. Any ideas?

I am from german and I can`t speak english very well but I also have the same problem. I reinstalled the game and tried all but I`ve heard that in Steam when we start a game it is not "controlled" against Errors and that is perhaps the problem. Sorry for not good english.:)

Hi. I also am having this issue. I was having issues with the install so uninstalled the game then reinstalled on a different drive. The installation took about 3 hours for me and the file validation went fine. Then when I started the game it got to the installation manager and that is where it rested. Nothing happened after that.

If anyone can help, I and others are sure to be greatful. This is a fantastic game and I would love to get back into it.

Also stuck in the installation manager. Fresh install, tells me I don't have disk space to install the Standard Content. Tried reinstalling on a drive with 110gb of space, didn't work. Manually selected an install folder on the drive with space, still didn't work.

How big is the Standard Content package? The manager doesn't tell you the package size.

As it says in the system requirements, you need at least 160GB of space, so no surprise that a disk with 110GB left does not work.

That got me unstuck, thanks. The game downloads initially with a 2gb package, and the in-game installer manager does not show the space required for the Standard Content when you don't have enough disk space. Now that I have enough space, the installer manager reads 163.17 gb / 200.xx gb. If it displayed the space required before, I could have self recovered.

I am reinstalling again for the 5th time. last time (and this time) I installed the initial game from Steam to my C: Drive. Then when I started with the installation manager ingame, I set it for my G: drive creating a new folder for it called "MSFS 2020". It seems to be downloading without hiccups and a lot quicker. Will let y'all know if it works after it is done.
