Update: Tried logging in with alternate Microsoft/Xbox account and same issue, No connectivity to servers, any data or Marketplace.
Additional Update September 25: I believe I found a way around the lack of connectivity. I was previously launching FS 2020 from the link on my Steam account. I've since discovered that if I launch the game directly from the link/icon created on my desktop at the time I installed it on Steam it launches with full online capabilities. I do not even open Steam. On startup, FS will go through the "Press Any Key to Continue" screen, then checks for updates and then loads into the game with full recognition of my Xbox Live account and all online functionality. When launching from within Steam it would always ask for a sign in, sometimes recognizing my Xbox account but it never got fully handed off into FS. I still need to "fix" my Xbox Networking on starting up my PC big that's not a huge problem.
If anyone is having trouble with online connection or FS recognizing your Xbox account when launching from within Steam you might try launching it directly from an icon on your desktop if you elected to add one when installing the game.
As noted in my original post, with online capabilities working, FS 2020 is nothing short of amazing!
If it disconnects again, try changing your account password then do the above again.
This worked for me.
Thanks. Did try that. Didn't fix it but was able to verify that connections are properly configured. Appreciate the comment.
Tried it. No luck but thanks for the comment.
Thanks. I've done that more times than I can count without success - both for my regular and alternate Xbox accounts. Haven't tried changing the password though so will try that next.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
