I have the same joystick, an oldie but a goodie.
Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 is an amazing product. I just got a second one from ebay. They really are built like a tank.
Completely agree with the Sidewinder Force Feedback 2. Couple years ago I found one CIB at the thrift store for $8 CAD and bought it. Worked amazingly well in War Thunder.
Just under a year ago I found another one at the same thrift store for $5 CAD, no box this time. Snatched that real fast. I've used both to play with my friends whenever they come over.
Apparently these are super expensive? If so, I feel very lucky to have gotten two for under $15.
3rd party app is in the works.
