profile editor for saitek, logitech x52 pro ?

I can not get the logitech software to work at all. I spent a lot of time watching the videos and reading and it just doesn't work.

There is a way to get MFD to display stuff, untested if it functions yet, but without a way to assign a key and shift states I'm lost.

What's the modern replacement for the old Saitek Logitech x52 profile editor thing?
