DLSS not available in Anti-Aliasing options
Hi,

I am sure this was working fine for me on my old PC with the same RTX 3080 graphics card but on my new i5-13600KF system with the same card the DLSS option is missing when I toggle through the Anti-Alasing options. I only have the following options: FXAA, DLAA (isn't this a DLSS option?), FSR and TAA.

I've checked the game folder and all four DLSS DLLs seem to be present (2x nv*_dlss*.dll and 2x si.dlss*.dll) and DLSS works fine in every other game that supports it. I am using the latest 531.41 driver from NVIDIA.

Is this a bug? Does anyone know how to fix this please?

In NVIDIA PANEL turn FXAA OFF as it is a replacement.

Are you sure you are on the DX12 version?

You don't need to be using DX12 for DLSS to be an option.

Yes, I am using DX12 for this game but, as stated, DLSS works for DX11 and DX12 so it shouldn't matter which API I am using.

Isn't DLAA a variant of DLSS? I can see DLAA in the AA options but not DLSS which seems strange. I also have an issue with the updated RT version of The Witcher 3 which states that DLSS is not supported when I try to enable it in its DX12 mode (in that game DLSS is only supported in DX12 for some reason).

The strange thing is that DLSS is working perfectly fine in many other games I've tested since installing the new 531.41 graphics driver: Stranger of Paradise: FF Origins, Hogwarts Legacy, Atomic Heart... all have working DLSS as expected so it seems unlikely to be an issue with Windows 11 or the graphics driver otherwise DLSS would not work in those games either.

Disable FXAA in Nvidia Panel.
When you get DLSS working (I stick with DX11) then set to QUALITY.

Sorry but how do you disable FXAA in the control panel when it isn't even enabled globally or per-game? Also, why should that step even be required as FXAA and DLSS should both still be available in-game as a user-preference?

Oh, nevermind then, I somehow got it into my head that it was a requirement

Well it should appear in Global to allow that to alter as an Option. I suggest picking another Driver. Some have had issues with the very Latest. It's trial and test for each. FXAA has already been known to be a glitch with DLSS to appear. If you get to see it in Global, make it OFF. So if you see it and is already OFF then that is what it needs. If DLSS is not appearing still then do try another Driver.
BTW you may not see DLSS Option whilst in VR Mode. That was how it was for SU11 but may have been addressed. It does work for both DX11 & 12 but there is little difference between them now except the CPU & GPU Usage seems to lie for both now and give us false % just as it did before for DX12.

You only get the DLSS Option if your Card has that capability which yours does. You may have a wrong or bad Driver. If ever using DDU as you should, it can still have consequences rather than a vanilla install.
