Scroll zoom issue
Hi all.
This shouldnt be an issue but im struggling to find a way to remove the zoom control on the cockpit with the scroll while maintaning it during freelook.

Issue is when managing the autopilot rotating knobs using the mouse scroll if the cursor moves out of the knob you then instead zoom in or out, and that is extremely anoying.

My idea was to bind the zoom in/out to (right mouse button + wheel up/down) This works and the zoom will only activate when using scroll also pressing the right mouse button.
However now the right mouse button for freelook doesnt work anymore, despite having not changed its binding to the right mouse button.

Since the freelook already zooms when using the scroll i tried just to delete the mouse wheel up/down zoom bindings, but then it would not work also on freelook.

Cant get my head round why this doesnt work

I'm not sure if this answers your dilemma, but maybe try this: make some custom camera views (10 is max, afaik), then in the cameras.cfg file of the plane change AllowZoom from 1 to 0 for each of the cameras, and see if you like that.

Not sure if you using the Modern OR Legacy COCKPIT UI Method but Legacy may help. I do not use Freelook with RH Mouse as I use VR but if I ever need this for Monitor I use Throttle's Finger-stick. You might try switching the Mode to Legacy (not the Flight Model).

No, there is no functional way to escape that, in any of the view modes. One of the UX decisions the developers have made until otherwise changed.
