GARMIN 530 old stock is broken?

So I use the PMS GTN750 only to find out that this is NOT usable if you have the latest Asobo 530 installed. So I remove that and the 750 works as before. Now I try the 530 in the Skymaster only to find it ignores my GPS Route after the 1st LEG and flies as if it is following another Route 90 degrees left of this but that is all it does. So is the original 530 broken?

If this being the case, is this the real reason the new 530 is just another Optional Mod? I call that severe bad mismanagement to do it this way just like we had to put up with so many issues ever since WT took on the G1000NX. This 530 is by WT huh. OMG so you either must use 1 or the other to restrict your success. Brings a whole new meaning to FLIGHT PLANNING FFS.

SOLUTION for this Plane at least: It does not remember the Setting in the EFB if you have a GTN750. Still no idea if the old 530 is totally broken or just on some Aircraft as I just heard from a blogger.

Kinda SOLVED: same issue with 750 so it's the Aircraft fault. I've to ACTIVATE APPROACH to continue each time after the 2nd LEG every LEG.

Regardless there is a PATCH for the WT 530 to work with the GTN 750 (must have WT530 installed)

I have now found it does the exact same thing but now I see how to fix this. All sorted now. However, although WT530 & Stock530 will load the World Map FP, the GTN750 will not in the SKYMASTER. Perhaps in C310 or AW414 but yet to test.

AND SO.... in their utterly selfish and ignorance display towards 3rd Party DEVS, WORKING (LOL) TITLE release an Update 1.1.4 which still is NOT COMPATIBLE with the PMS GTN750 which still requires the PMS PATCH on their Website to function. I mean, can they just get along ffs and work with people investing in this Game or what??? NO... once they get paid they do not care one bit. Just WoW

This was always going to be a thing when releasing a product in such an incomplete state. They (MS/Asobo/WT) are still improving core systems to do what should be done when releasing the next iteration of a franchise. Games should improve over time and this game has nearly 20 years of computing and aviation advancements to catch up on.

Any third party developer and anyone who bought third party products should be aware they are going to have to work on their products as long as MS/Asobo keep bringing the base software up to a state fitting of this time period.

All it takes is Asobo BOSS/CEO/Management to make a pact to inform 3rd Parties of what they are changing and work with them during the BETA. This is a failure to implement Mods in this way to allow breaking OR worse still hinder their work entirely as in the slow release of SDK by it's Copyrights under daft Lawyers.

Third parties have known about and been able to use the beta which was specifically for testing avionics and certain aircraft.

Beyond what Manwith Noname says above, this has already been happening. Asobo most definitely HAVE been working behind the scenes with 3rd parties not just regarding what is coming in the next update but in more general terms with how things function and what could be improved.

There seems to be a fairly common misunderstanding on this forum about just how complicated this piece of software is and about how much work has, and continues, to go into it.

The Proof will be in the Pudding as always to see the change for BETA to work in this way IF Working Title do in fact keep them abreast of all changes coming and the BETA will allow for plenty time for these changes to be even tested within it. That is what I'd call good Management and Care for Quality. Fingers "X"

For sure. But do be patient also. This is a very complex title, so things that, on the surface, might seem trivial, can sometimes be much more complicated than you might imagine. Of course, I'm sure there are examples of trivial things not getting addressed too. But the situation is infinitely better than them having released and then walked away.

BTW, WT and PMS have a good working relationship too. They are in constant contact. It's just that these things take time. :-)
