Airbus A320 neo autopilot not working

I was playing FS2020 peicefully and then i figured out that my autopilot was trying to murder me by taking me off my flight path is there a fix to this issue and when i take off directly from the runway this does not seem to happen but when i take off from the gate its a problem can someone tell me what is going on

The way I see it after spending close to $120 for all the bells and whistles…and for what? One huge headache. I hope to log in to FS2020 and to able to fly an aircraft they way it performed previously or better …instead I get a vehicle that seems to just be degrading away. FLy By Wire has done an excellent job trying to keep up with all these fall backs and let downs…There was a point when I could fly the A320 as it should be according to sim specs for maybe like 3 or 4 days…then it was all downhill from there. I absolutely cringe at the thought of an update nowadays. The devs somehow ignore things that should be tested and corrected and instead just plop an update for new content and say good luck! They even lie to use saying the update would at least fix the oscillation issue…PFFFFFFFT!!! I doubt they even tested that. Hell I tested it just by trying to fly it, with FBW mod and vanilla, both instances produced catastrophically different results making the craft virtually unflyable. I would like to know what parallel quantum universe these devs are living in. SO gang how do we hold them accountable? I realize things arent developed in one sit down session and require many hours of this and that…but it seems they have forgotten to TEST their final product and how the repercussions would reverberate through out the entire sim making it a dreadful experience. I’m at a loss on what to do short of demanding a refund and they can have their sim back…yes its that bad…and PS Im gonna post this reply in several threads and I suggest that ya’ll do something to the same effect…maybe the devs will then catch the stench of disappointment that their consumers are feeling.

I too am having a320 auto pilot issues. I engage it and it just levels off. Altitude set at 35000 and no climb either with managed or climb rate set. Speed set at 240, it ignores it. Worked fine yesterday, now it doesn't. Makes no sense. Live weather is not even close. It says one thing at an airport when planning the flight, then, after the flight loads, you get different weather.

The plane is always off route, flying parallel to it. Same thing happens with the ILS approach which can't allign the plane to the center of the runway. Vertical speed and pitch are going up and down all the way up to cruise level. The engines seem to have gotten a lot weaker, the speed is dropping way to much during climb and it's taking forever for the plane to reach cruise altitudes like 38000 or 39000 ft. All of this started after this last patch. The game had some issues, yeah, but it was definetly playable before this patch. I really hope they start focusing more on the basics of the planes instead of visual stuff.

Exactly that! The plane is flying parallel to the route, I was initially thinking it was just correcting for wind speeds. Climbing beyond 30k was incredible slow, to the point where the ATC was complaining. And the ILS approach is parallel to the runway as well, and with that pretty much useless when visibility is low ...

I'm having the same issue brother. I feel your frustration. Might go back to playing other sims for now because this has annoyed the f*** out of me. The developers are kind of taking one step forward and two steps back for every update. My autopilot pretty much just turns completely the opposite direction to the way point and just nosedives into the nearest ocean. I thought Asobo were heading into the right direction the past couple updates. The plane was actually flyable, however I didn't know that direction they were taking in this update would be off a cliff.
