It's not malware, it's a false positive from your VC. Microsoft are hardly going to attach a trojan to their game file...sheesh

Kaspersky just deleted my FlightSimulator.exe when I start the game again...

restore the file, then make an exclusion for it before running the game (or it will delete it again)

stop using antivirus software, it's basically malware. Windows 10 comes with perfectly adequate protection.

Exactly, Windows Defender is all you need. No third party anti-virus software needed. All other anti-virus software is just malware and bloatware, hogging your computers resources.

Windows Defender soaks up all CPU capacity from time to time making the PC inoperable for a minute, no solution did work so third party :(

Coming from an IT Security professional this is the "worst advice ever given". Defense in depth? Why would you trust one of the companies with the worst reputation for software releases (just behind Ubisoft) entirely with your home network security?!?!

Another person with no IT Security experience giving bad advice to users. Coming from an IT Security professional this is the "worst advice ever given". Defense in depth? Even after uninstall malicious file still maintains persistence and presence on device. External communication out of country by flagged process

Kasperky is terrible to work with . Gets such a high rating on the web I really don’t know why. It may stop you PC getting a virus but hell it makes your PC unworkable on the web. I had it for a year worst investment I ever made. I now use the free version of Bitdefender works fine for me.
