How do you change the order of waypoints?

I'm trying to re-create my flight path to get a map of where I went. However FS 2020 adds the waypoints in randomly?

I get a knot instead of a path from West to East, no matter how I add the waypoints.

Is there any way to change the order? I can't find it.

Not sure you can do it in game. Happy to be corrected though.

You could try saving the borked flight plan to a .pln file and then manually editing it. That might work.

You asked for a direct GPS routing from airport to airport.

If you wish to be able to select waypoints instead try using VOR to VOR routing and zoom in until the VOR's appear then click on one and hit "add".

Hmm I doubt many of the smaller ones I visited even have VORs.

Saving and then re-organizing the .pln file works!
It inserts cruise and descent waypoints yet that doesn't matter, can safely delete.

sometimes you can setup the flight plan, and if it orders waypoints improperly, you can edit further in the aircraft with glass G1000 or G3000.
