I recently (within the last week) read an official post from MS that support for MSFS 2020 is until 2028.

If I could remember the link to the source at the time, then I would have posted it. I hoped that providing you with the initial information, you would be motivated to do your own search. Clearly, I assumed too much.

Because there are many many rumors sailing the web with the wildest stories.
So 10 years support promise for FS2020 was not true...
