How to install PMDG liveries

I was looking for some liveries for the PMDG B-737 600. I downloaded some of them.
After extracting the folder I find a file with the extension .ptp and, in some cases, some JPGs.
Where should I put them?
I tried to put them like the other mods in the Community folder, but they don't appear. What could have happened? Is it correct?
They told me to use the PMDG Ops Center, but I am a bit incompetent in managing downloads... Can you explain to me where exactly I can find this program and which is the procedure to install PMDG liveries? I tried to search on the Internet but without success.

There are some PMDG skins available that also just drag and drop into the CF after unzipping. Quite a few on flightsim.to for example. So you have options both ways.
