Xbox MSFS 2024

Hi, I purchased MS 2020 through Steam and been slowly plodding my through the learning process but following an upgrade to my Broadband my ISP has given me 1 years Xbox GamePass Ultimate free for a year which includes MS 2024 so I'm giving it a try.

Am I still ok asking MS2024 questions on this forums or should I look at an Xbox based forums? I'm running on a Windows based Laptop.

Nothing wrong if you keep asking on Steam but not on THESE forums specifically because they're not for FS24 but for its predecessor.

Quick update - decided to go back to MSFS2020. MS2024 was a nicer interface with a better look and feel than MS2020 I felt, but I didn't like that there was save Save option for mid flight, that many configuration screens only had a "Save and Back" option not a Back without saving. Also the installation hadn't registered in the conventional way so no option to use Revo, even in Hunter Mode.

2024 is garbage. The Career is a dumpster fire, lazy and horrible AI voice actors that repeat themselves and do not act human at all. Unrealistic infractions. Grindy money making. A week after release they made money making like 70% less to make you grind more which made the career even more unrealistic.

The worst thing is its an always online game with streaming terrain so nothing is on your PC. You cannot play without a constant connection. ?Its complete trash. Your also not getting anything really new as opposed to 2020. 2020 has it beat. I refunded and will not be going back. Its as bad and a failure just like MSFlight was.

I hope 2024 continues to fail. They deserve to fail by forcing the online streaming data alone.
