I played for 60 hrs with no issues. I´m thinking this might have happened after I installed Win 11. I have tried checking Windows and the game. I deleted the whole game and then reinstalled it: It just installed 1.9 Gb, since it doesn´t get to go to the MSFS loading screen (to download the rest of the game).
Do you end up with a black screen.
Maybe repair/reinstall you video card drivers.
Normally, Windows 11 should not be an issue. Have used MSFS 2020 for 4 years on Windows 11. Upgrading from Win 10 to Win 11 did not affect my games when I did it.
Did you install any updates/patches for Windows 11?
Does Task Manager show any activity from FlightSimulator.exe and if so what?
When you reinstalled MSFS did you delete (backup first) your settings folder located at:
C:\Users\XXXXX\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator
The XXXXX is your Windows account name.
Maybe check if your anti-virus live file check is an issue for MSFS.
Without being there I can only offer suggestion for you to try.
Let me know how it goes. :)
A common problem for the game failing at this point is not having an English text to speech pack available.
Sounds reasonable.
I think since the last Update from Win11.
Have download the English Uk Pack, but this solved not the Problem.
Dont know what it is.
Did you consider my suggestions?
2 days ago it was still working without any problems. I haven't changed anything except a Windows 11 update
Who is knowing about resolve issues method?
