I can tell you, FS2020 has improved everything:
- Weather already included
- Super enhanced graphics
- Incredible world detail
- Better sound system (incl. ground rumbling and shaking)
- Better flight dynamics simulation (based on actual airflow around the wings/body)
- Good framerates even on normal systems regarding what insane detail is offered
Many people think, FS2020 is a "game", but it is not. It is an extremely sophisicated simulator. Has some childhood deseases but these will be solved in the next months.
I can assure you, once PMDG gets to finish their 737 or Aerosoft the A320, P3D is done for.
FS2020 feels so "real", the immersion is extremely high.
Once you get into the clouds in FS2020 and see them rendered in full 3D your jaw will drop to the floor. No other sim comes close to the cloud rendering present in FS 2020 and that includes any and all payware for FSX. FSX used billboards and impostors and FS 2020 appears to be using voxels. FS 2020 has volumetric clouds. And they look amazing.
