made it just past that, stuck on a loading screen of sorts. looking at a plane, my green line is even with two little houses 18% or so it looks like

If you have an outlook account you can just use the same login and then it starts downloading.

Maybe its gonna help some people ! I restarted my game a few times. Unistall the 500mb luncher and start over ! Make sure your XBOX app have the same file directory than steam( same drive ) And suddenly it worked for me and my friend

once you get past the sign in screen boss, you got the big download boss to figure out

I had to kill the game 3 times and restart before it would finally bring up the update dialogue in which it was attempting to install to my C drive which is a 256GB SDD for windows install and other critical stuff, the HDD was not being selected which has ample space. Once it let me choose the right place the DL began.
