Can Steam players play with friends who bought MS Store version?
Can we play together? Are we all on the same server?

From what I understand Steam just launches it, you download it from Microsoft. My XBox name isn't the same as my Steam. When I play it my name isn't going to be my Steam name, it will be my XBox name.

I believe it's a single, massive online world, no? Or are there servers to choose from?

1 big massive server... sort of. It uses the Azure software from microsoft. Everyone is playing on the same cloud type network server. BUT, only 50 people will be in the same "instance" as you at any given time.

You use your Microsoft linked account here, thats how you play MP with people on MS store and x-box.

I tried to play with a friend from the MS Store last night, I can see friends on the Xbox dashboard and I am logged on in the game. But cannot see any friends list. - Anyone else having this issue?
