Is the new tutorial good enough for a new player?

I was wondering if the updated tutorials are better then the ones from the start. I am a total beginner and I really need some help to get startet but the first tutorials from last year did not really help me so I canceled the gamepass. But I miss the game somehow. Thx ! :)

As far as I know they are the same tutorials, there are just more of them now to introduce you to more advanced stuff. If you still want to give it a try I recommend:

- Play the training flights again, maybe it "clicks" this time
- Search on YouTube - plenty of how-to-fly videos there
- Check out the flight assistance options -they are not perfect, but can take away a bit of the stress when learning
- Come to the forum (this or the official one) with more specific questions :- )

Oh thank you very much. Ya I think I will give it another try :) I know about the youtube tutorials but my 2nd screen sadly died so i'm not able to watch videos while flying which makes it pretty hard. But we will see :)

They expanded them a little bit recently. If you're completely new to flying, they'll get you up in the air with very basic GA planes and you'll be able to wobble down "safely." Practice will make you better.

But there's a gigantic world of flight sim knowledge out there that the tutorials don't even touch.

I too, vote for YouTube tutorials.

they don't even have to be specifically for msfs.

Start with small "simple" aircraft with analogue dials. (cessna 152/172 etc) or one of the Bush aircraft as they're quite forgiving.

the essential part is to have fun, don't worry about the "real world" procedures at first.

Yes, updated training courses are better. Still, they teach only the basics. To learn more, you'll need to reference other sources. Don't expect the game to substitute real training pilots get.
