Microsoft Flight Simulator

Microsoft Flight Simulator

I have not receive the De Havilland Canada CL-415 firefighting aircraft with my pre-order!
"All pre-orders will receive the De Havilland Canada CL-415 firefighting aircraft to use instantly in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)." I really wounder if this is even true. I pre ordered 2024 and there is no plane in sight. Was I lied to?

EDIT: after digging all over the place, I found it under the Content Manager in sim. All good!

You may not receive it until 2024 releases. That's my guess.

They said you could instantly use it in 2020.
I found it, They hid it in the content manager under not installed.

how is it?
It flies like a dream and the modeling looks really good. If its any indication of what 2024 is going to offer then I can't wait!

How could it be when using 2020's flight model? All you stated is that the plane flies well in 2020 and looks good in 2020.

The Cirrus Vision Jet SF50 is amazing in 2020. It is also available in 2024. But just b/c it is amazing here does not mean it will be there.

He asked my opinion and i gave it. Does it mean anything? No that's what its called an opinion I am well aware of the limitations of the current sim compared to the new one, but it is a 2024 plane that is in the current sim. If you don't like my opinion that is fine but i am not looking for anyone's approval. Compared to other aircraft it is of high quality and that is what is impressive to me. So sorry not sorry

I'm pointing out the flaws in your logic. We don't know what 2024 will be like. How can you say if it is thus and so in 2020 then it must be great in 2024? It might suck in 2024. A is not B. And likely it will have more bugs due to it being newer code and possibly have more issues. Actually almost guaranteed to have more issues. Nothing in the plane in 2020 could clue you in what 2024 will be like. So your statement is completely inaccurate and misleading.

I was generalizing, sure it may be good in 2020 and crap in 2024 (which if that's your logic then it seems a little flawed to me) and what is misleading it was an OPINION it does not have to have logic. Not to mention if we are going down that road almost every triple A game now a days is released as a buggy broken nightmare it is just the reality of the scene but if people want to dissect my opinion, fine, but I will not justify my opinion to some stranger on the internet.

Do you have the Steam version? Because I cant find it under the "content manager under not installed" or anywhere else...And I have the Premiun Deluxe.

You need to buy it over the same store. Steam 2020 and 2024

I don't have it either and cannot be bothered making at account at Zendesk to get it.

Dang, you really enjoy your high horse some days. People like to enjoy things, that doesn't mean they are asking you to piss all over them.

The FS24 planes carry over a lot of the flight modelling from MSFS, Asobo isn't re-inventing the entire sim.. There are a few added simulation factors such as pneumatics and cloth, and things like that. We (maybe not you specifically) will get an overhauled atmosphere with better thermal modelling and turbulence. Even high-altitude electromagnetics will make auroras. The FS24 planes will be able to take advantage of those things, while the MSFS planes will not, or else might need a few upgrades. The SDK will say exactly how.
Anyone else having problems getting the plane allocated to them in MSFS2020? I have followed all the step as well as raised the support ticket via ZenDesk and still haven't been able to get it sorted.

I have checked the Content Manger using the search function and ensure all options were ticked (Installed, Uninstalled etc)

Anyone else got any ideas?
