Got AIRAC Cycle 2412 update today - good to know 2020 is still getting some care, except VTBS nav aids are still broken.

OMG thank you for the heads up. I predicted this would happen as it proves once SABOTAGE has been at work it is not being found to FIX as it is not about any old DATA needing Updated but was a confirmed SABOTAGE by a HATE CRIME. Amazing.

Some airspace is still incorrect. All of the GPS show that the airspace near John Tune airport northwest of KBNA has a diagonal line through it making it look like there are 2 small triangle airspaces there. This is not accurate. The airspace was changed some time ago and extended outward whilst also raising the shelf in some areas and lowering it in others, but the diagonal line is simply incorrect. This has been in the sim for over a year and has not been fixed. The data is wrong.

There are also many glitches in the MOAs in the Midwestern USA. I don't know if this is a GPS rendering bug or something else.

Yep, airports like VTBS, ROAH, VHHH, etc. remain broken - it's like updating GPS nav on a vehicle running on 3 wheels with one punctured.

Well FS 2020 has no concept of airspace anyways, so I guess it does not matter much.

Just watched a YT'ber show Navigraph charts are free on 2024 via the EFB tablet. Suppose Navigraph is free because MS bought it for players, will it be available for 2020 simmers too?

No. It's their own version of Flight Planning with Charts. I am sad that even NAVIGRAPH are 1 yr old as their FREE version plus MSFS2020 is 1 Month behind... so there never is a proper working Game ever.

Yet even if we do SUB to NAVIGRAPH we are then fully up to date except for the Game's WORLD MAP & therefore ATC. It never syncs together.

I use my Garmin Pilot sub and app with FS 2020 so I don't have to rely on Navigraph or any in-game charts. It is nice to get charts on the PFDs but not required and not totally realistic as some real world avionics do not support this.

No, nothing to do with Navigraph. Navigraph is using Jeppesen charts, while Microsoft has Lido charts contracted from Lufthansa. And I doubt they'll backport them to 2020.

KMQY is now messed up as well. 118.50 is tower, not ground. It is now listed as ground and clearance is 121.40. This has been correct since launch and now it is wrong. Why can't things that work stay working? Ground is 121.40, and tower is 118.50. Not sure why this was changed.

This is getting frustrating and the MS forums are cluttered with 2024 bugs in navaids section with no way to filter for 2020 only. I cannot report anything either since I'm new there. So I can't even report this bug. Great. XP12 looking better each day.

Someone who has forum access, please report this bug. KMQY ground IS NOT 118.50. IT IS 121.40.

This was working earlier today and now it is wrong.

The only way this would be true is if the tower was closed. It is open 0700 - 2200 Mon-Fri and on Sat-Sun 0700-1900. If the tower is closed clearance on 121.7 becomes 121.4. If the tower is closed, the airport becomes uncontrolled and CTAF is 118.50.

AFAIK FS 2020 does not simulate control tower closures. Unless this was fixed recently, the data in the sim is wrong.

Of note the section of airspace near KJWN or John Tune has been fixed. The diagonal line is no longer present.

I did this back in October when it started. They just said they added it to look into. Nothing will ever be done. AIRAC is simply an automated Updates DATA and they do not care for BUGS.

*Perform a Search for "VTBS" and the only one this year refers to MSFS2024 instead for CTDs. Nothing is listed for this BUG. They lied and marked it as "SOLVED" as every other BUG I report in ZENDESK. Just jobsworths and need sacking.
