Please do elaborate and provide a critique (without resorting to chatGPT and claiming the piece as your own...)?

Steam Deck is awesome. That said, you have to accept that it’s a handheld device with limitations. MSFS is demanding even on high-end PCs. Expecting it to run decent on a Steam Deck is asking WAYYY WAYYY too much.

hopefully in the future we will see cloud gaming support through steam...

Failed concept. Been tried too many times. Accept it. Local with streaming 'option' is a much better approach. Cloud gaming simply does not work. I can control how much storage and how much latency I have locally. But when I'm at the mercy of my ISP or any connection between myself and the server, I cannot control that. Just a terrible idea overall.

Cloud gaming will def be the new norm one day, just not today. You better believe though that that’s the direction the industry is going in. They want subscriptions. The big AAA companies are tired of the “buy game once, maybe offer some dlc over time”, rinse and repeat. They want, “buy game once, be locked into a monthly subscription for the next 10 years…. PLUS additional DLC.

In the same way we first cursed at DLC in the first place, but then grew to accept it, so we will accustom to cloud, sub only gaming.
