- 'Thin client': more of the terrain data will be streamed instead of installed directly onto your harddrive.
- Updates to the weather engine.
- improved terrains, including an advanced way to fake photogrammetry using AI, for countries that do not allow fly-overs to capture this data with aircraft.
- Hot air balloons.
- Aircraft skins expand and contact.
- Tires lose air pressure.
- New default aircraft -- I believe the A-10 will be one of them.

Any ATC 'improvements' at all?...
I have the game on the windows store... I hope there is just an option to download the entire thing. streaming textures was heavy on bandwidth
They are referring to it as a 'Career Mode' so I doubt it would be restricted to a single mission type of thing.
1. MSFS 2024 is a separate game from MS2020.
2. There will not be a free upgrade for MSFS 2020 owners.
3. I believe we can have both sims installed simultaneously if we desire.
4. Most addons created for MSFS 2020 will work in MSFS 2024.
I haven't seen any information yet whether Marketplace DLC licenses will carry over to the new sim. I also wonder if the two sims will each have their own Community folder; and if so, how that affects third-party apps.
