Navlog/flight plan, and flying VOR to VOR...
So, I notice after creating a flight plan flying VOR to VOR, the navlog displays my checkpoints, direction of travel between checkpoints, (radials) and estimated times between points.
What it doesn't display (in flight) are VOR frequencies, which we obviously need to navigate this way.
Not that I would mind, but is the only way "to remember frequencies" writing them down before beginning my flight? (as I can see they are present in the flight planning screen, but nowhere else)

Thank you both. These are both such good options (the Garmin option only if you have a Garmin comp in your cockpit) I don't even know which I'll use. I guess it makes sense to write down frequencies before taking off, and using either the skyvector nav map or the Garmin option, if I decide to alter my plan or can't read my own handwriting or something like that.
thanks again!!!

I have also been using Skyvector. Any other good ones? I saw EJ using another one but forgot the name,

This is definitely something I'd love to see added to the Nav Log.

I just have the GPS selected under CDI and AP (sort of) follows the course. In the case of the non AP aircraft, I cheat and have the external waypoint markers visible!

For sure...but there's something gratifying about navigating by flying radials.

Dumb question....the ctrl-alt-x command that turns on AI control of the plane...is that the same as the plane's autopilot? will AI control follow a GPS route?
