The Cessna Skyhawk for example has a lot ...
use ui to change page (i fly on cesna and i have way too much check-list to do ... )
I believe you can edit them to add things. The checklist files are in folders for each aircraft called Checklist in %APPDATA\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\Official\Steam\
eg for c152:
%APPDATA%\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\Official\Steam\ asobo-aircraft-c152\SimObjects\Airplanes\Asobo_C152\Checklist
If an aircraft is lacking items, you can probably copy over a lot of the C152 stuff, however some things might not apply and those might crash the game.
I'd like to expand the checklists in general and it seems like it will be possible to create new checklist lines using the 'Library.xml' file (example is in C152 folder where they add an item for 'Master_Switch_On_C152' which is referenced in the other file). Of course we don't know the internal names for all the items in the cockpit, but we can probably figure a lot of them out.
Not tested anything as I just discovered this today while looking for something else :)
Look forward to some fun videos watching the copilot testing every single frequency on the radio.
That is sad... beside you can learn a lot from them as a noob.
The context helps so much for understanding the planes and their functions to the point that I've actually gone to the Daher TMB's manual to understand what the intert sep is.
I've not really flown with a lot of craft yet, since I tend to favour the ones that ended up having the full comprehensive checklist, but the ones that are definitely fully featured are the Cessna 172 and the Daher TBM.
I know for a fact though that the Icon A5 and the Diamond DA40 don't have it, which is a shame because I was really looking forward to learning more about those planes.
I spent some time over the past days writing up a proper guide to edit them:

Hopefully this helps you out expanding them. Any questions leave a comment here or there or on my profile and I'll try to help, but hopefully you should be good on your own!
I know the process, I've been doing my own checklist on my 787 all the way from the departure gate to the arrival gate. I have no issues with the process since I pretty much remember most of it. I'm just saying it would be nice to have it in game.
Or at least, built into the MFD as what an actual 787 does.
They have to be in the game...
Makes no Sense why Microsoft delivers totally incomplete checklists
so helpful for noobs that Checklists show you Automatically every every location of a button by clicking on a checklist position
Is their a place where you can get a specific plane's official checklist perhaps, and then incorporate using this method?
For the big planes it obviously gets a lot harder, but recently a lot of laid-off or furlowed pilots have been streaming in sims and those videos are a great resource for their exact workflow, if you can follow them (they sometimes go a bit quickly).
