DC Designs Concorde
Hello,
Considering purchasing the Concorde aircraft and wondering if anyone who has it can tell me if it will automatically load flightplans made from the world map in MSFS like the default aircraft do.
I realize it's not a study level aircraft and I currently fly the big tubes (default) but I keep it simple just using the world map for flightplans.
Thank you.

It sure does although you will be best to use a Map to follow where you go unless you get use to the TOD and trust ATC. I use SKY4SIM (now NG version) which also works in VR. The Plane is nice but will need to watch vids on it to find out all about the Fuel Pumping for Balance. It can be quite confusing but once known is as simple as 2 switches at either end.
It's about as complex as the BAE146. Lovely Planes.

MacMan, thank you for the information. I fly in VR so I will also check out SKY4SIM.
I thought I heard there's some kind of auto assistance with the fuel pumping if one chooses to use it.
I'm watching lots of videos trying to decide if it's for me.

I have the Concorde and its has tons of things that can be adjusted, just like other study level aircraft.

Simracer, thank you for the input. Yes, I'm getting it today. I can't wait any longer. Been watching lots of Youtube videos and it looks like its for me, thanks.

I hope you enjoy it too. It has to be flown properly to reach it's over Mach 2 speed.

Old thread I know, but this is a necessary comment on it. I used to fly the DC Designs Concorde quite well a couple years back. I took a year break, came back, and now the plane is broken. Vertical speed hold doesn't work, IAS speed hold occasionally works but usually doesn't, and nav hold is completely broken and just causes your plane to spin around in circles. This is very disappointing considering this was one of my favorite planes to fly, and now it's trash. No word from DC about a fix of any kind, it seems it's been abandoned.

Because of this, I would warn anybody from ever buying a DC designs plane.

Untrue about news/updates. DC has repeatedly stated that the Concorde has a MAJOR update/upgrade in the works and that it's one of their major projects.

That being said, there's been no sight of said update for quite a while, so take their statements for what they're worth at the moment.
