No prob - it's a decent operating system. I ran it for years and never really had too many issues (though, most likely simply due to time, I had more issues with it than I have had with 11 - but that's a meaningless statistic). There's even some things about 10 I prefer over 11. But then there are some things in 11 that I prefer over 10. I'm sure most people would have a similar story to tell once they'd used both systems long enough to get used to them.

But that's all irrelevant. The question was whether or not Microsoft Flight Simulator runs on Windows 11. It's not a complicated question mate.

Try this one on for size though. You seem to have quite a few more problems with the sim than I do. A simple scroll through this forum will detail the problems you and the mower man have encountered. So perhaps Windows 10 is not as good. LOL.

(btw I say this with the greatest respect for those in the know. Stuff happens. Accentuate the positive. But bullying will return the same response. It's just not a good look for Microsoft. And devolves trust.)

edit- Yeah technically compatible. But small problems (only, hopefully) will always need to be fixed, depending on the access to information and the work.

The Vid I posted has tips on installing WIN11 e.g. if you can not use SECURE BOOT due to like me I have a none-OEM GPU (EVGA RTX 2080 ULTRA) which he says can bypass by using RUFUS version of the USB Install Utility. I was told by MS it would do it anyways but need to clear and write into the BIOS which can take a while and seem like it has gone dead. This is the grey area for me as I also am fighting with the MS UEFI to even read my Hard Drives... It works on installing 2 Drives but must be done 1 at a time only. Then as I did, add a 3rd Drive. However, upon a Power Cut it lost memory of 1 Drive and only reads 2. Then when I make swaps to other working Drives it can not read those. Swap back also lost my 2nd Drive until I switched OFF entirely and came back later. That UEFI can not be trusted.

As a few of you guys said on here long ago, we can avoid needing to give away our Telemetry Positional Data by unplugging the Internet before it gets that far to ask. He said even Pro Version now must install with your Account.

MSFS runs perfectly fine on Windows 11.

If it doesn't it's because you have screwed up your Windows 11 installation.

People who post links to lists of "workarounds" (typically ill advised rubbish "teknuckle advice") for Windows 11 "issues" are the sort of people who always fiddle with their Windows 11 system like this, which is why it breaks for them. This also applies to MSFS.

Don't be that person.

MSFS runs perfectly fine on Windows 11.
