How can I get my add-ons back?

So here's what happened. I had MSFS 2020 on Xbox Game Pass. When I had it there, I had several add-ons including the Reno Air Race mod. I have a particular interest in the Jet class. Anyway... I saw MSFS on here for sale for $39 so I got it, hoping I could keep my add-ons. Well, they obviously weren't there. Now, I saw where it still has me associated with my Game Pass account, the same one where I purchased those add-ons. I was actually able to go to a couple of the aftermarket venders and reclaim a couple of those add-on planes, but not the Reno jets. Since I am still basically signed into the same Gamepass account I had MSFS on before, shouldn't I be able to get my previously purchased mods somehow? Anyone know how I can contact Asobo and ask them about this?

Quick question, did you buy the addons for an XBOX then buy the Steam PC version?

Most likely they will not transfer your licenses but Zendesk / MS support is your Obi Wan Kenobi.

You may have been ok if you bought from the MS store however.

I bought the add-ons when I has the sim through Xbox Game Pass. I had to delete that install because of HDD issues. Then I saw MSFS on sale on Steam and bought it.
It was my understanding that even though you access MSFS through Steam, it is still attached to an Xbox account. If so, wouldn't my add-ons be available to me if the Steam MSFS install were connected to the correct Xbox account?

No, not necessarily. In the case of this game at least although it might appear everything is the same regardless of where you download it, Steam version licenses for the game and marketplace are tied in part to your Steam account and not just the MS account you log in with.
