PMDG B737 600 Cabin altitude warning?
Got this message above FL20 , but the settingsknob is set at automatic.
Flying at FL22 i sert 22.000.
Yellow message at the right side of top panel will disapear when i set pressure a little below 22.000, but in front of the cockpit the red warning keeps light up untill below 10.000.

Am ii missing something, or is this normal that you need to keep adjusting the cabin pressure all the time?
This is my first PMDG airplane, the rest all goes well...

Turn the packs on after you depart.

It's PACKS ON for Takeoff as far as I found as it would give me warnings for the -700 if not. Even though I have seen Real 73 Pilots say PACKS OFF again for Takeoff then ON once Airborne.
You do need to Set Isolation Valve (middle switch) to Auto middle setting else it can trigger later either above 20k ft or on your descent. It took me a while to figure this out.

The thing PACKS are considered to need to be off on Takeoff & Landing for safety in case of a crash or fire to prevent spreading smoke or feed flames right surely? Plus it takes up Electric Power which the Engines may need to push TOGA or FLEX. And don't call me Shirley :steamhappy:

I also press the RESET button after setting these just in case as this has helped before also. You see the pressure changing also.

More so, it's a matter of bleed air. Since the Packs take bleed air from the engines, having the packs on significantly reduces maximum enigne thrust, which you might need during T/O and G/A. You don't need pressurization close to the ground but you (potentially) need every single bit of engine thrust available. Thus: Packs off during T/O and approach.
