top gun maverick f18 turns off in midair

like really. i did the takeoff tutorial just for giggles and as soon as i get off the runway the throttles go to zero and then i tried one of the low flight trials and the plane was cold and dark.
updating with fix: if you have the honeycomb bravo throttle and the autopilot knob is set to IAS the throttles will go to zero after take off (this doesnt happen with any other plane, so, lol), and for the cold and dark on start of time trial, restart time trial.

Mine are bugged too except I can't play any of them in VR. They show up on a flat screen in my valve index headset with a white infinity grid in the background no matter how I try to launch it. Only the Darkstar mission works. Looks like they released this a bit too early but they had a deadline because of the movie.

VR works for me, but zero point if the plane doenst work lol. glad im not the only one. i just did a test flight with the justflight arrow to verify the issue is isolated and flew around socal with no problems.

As soon as DLC installs I Restart Game else it likely will not index files in time to run well. For me all I needed was to add a BIND for AFTERBURNER to allow it to go past MIL. The Flight stops soon after Takeoff unless you keep flying in the small spawn area. It's not open World.

game was restarted. button bound to go past afterburner. soon as i leave the ground the throttles go to zero. thats not normal anyway you look at it.

starting to think companies just leave bugs in so the studio can have busywork to do. no way these werent caught in testing

Set Throttle to use THROTTLE AXIS 1,2,3,4 (all 4 of these with Reversed) and Remove the old "THROTTLE AXIS".
