Yes.

If you're already running the studio drivers then it probably won't make a difference to switch to game ready ones right?

The drivers are different version numbers:
Studio Driver 517.40
Game Ready Driver 517.48

FPS-wise, yes, but the quality is still significantly worse than with TAA. So that's a tradeoff to consider.

I get same max 38 - 45 fps on RTX2080 TI ULTRA but it crashes for DX12 in VR G2. DX11.I now have DX12 working in VR after turning off OpenXR DEV & TOOLKIT plus the latter needed an Upgrade.
I also made CAS=100 to begin with again but still works at 200. DX12 works with OpenXR DEV APP (even at 115%) + OpenXR TOOL KIT which needs updated to Latest 1.2.0 To help it not crash I started VR whilst in the WORLD MAP. However, no more fps for me on top of previous GPU Driver nor using DX12 but DLSS adds more for any.

* TASK MANAGER reads GPU USAGE ~15% (CPU 40%) which I AM SURE IS WRONG
DX11 it's at 100%

that should not be the case. It can be significantly worse if you maybe compare it with supersampled TAA.

With DLSS there is no supersampling. IF you compare quality this is only valid comparing with TAA if TAA is not more then @100% scale.

DLSS in combination with CAS should result in better quality and performance compared to TAA @100% scale.

I even suggest to push it further manually editing userCfg.opt file. You can go beyond 200% editing the config file. Im using 350%, looks awesome.

Pardon my ignorance but what is this CAS setting you guys are talking about?

CAS = Contrast Adaptive Sharpening. Also known as FidelityFX.
An AMD solution that provides a mixed ability to sharpen and optionally scale an image.

Basically DLSS+CAS is making the image look more detailed as if it was of higher resolution then it actually is. It is supposed to improve performance and eventually quality to certain degree. You are rendering at lower resolution, but then upscale and sharpen the image to higher resolution. That makes about same quality but can be rendered faster.

I'm keen on this as it doesn't drop FPS but can not find the section to edit in VR. Is it labelled: SuperSampling 4? (mine was set at 200%) or where?
* Sharpening is Disabled in NVIDIA if that must be ON to set this correctly?
