And I have to say, if all this is true and the bus costs only 60 Euros....wow!

Flight Sim Labs are also bringing the A320 series (including the NEO) and A330. It will be very interesting to see how these two compete.

Will be ages before FSLabs brings anything. From their most recent blog they still prioritize P3D over MSFS, as further demonstrated by them saying that P3D will see the A320 Neo before MSFS (and same for the Concorde). And given that they haven't shown anything so far and given no release date even that might not happen this year, much less their MSFS release.

Meanwhile Fenix has compiled their release candidate build this morning and is looking outstanding in features, visuals and bang-for-buck.

Oh sure, that I know and agree with.
Well, maybe FSLabs can port some of the A320 resources to MSFS but I think it is not so easy because in MSFS everything is different
The big difference is that Fenix is running some code outside of MSFS which means that they can currently provide more features than any other dev. If FSLabs wants to stay with the MSFS SDK in order to get into the Xbox market the PC market will be dry for them.

+ AEROSOFT's A330 by end of the year... (as brought up by MAKI)
https://msfsaddons.com/2022/05/14/aerosoft-assures-the-a330-will-be-out-for-msfs-this-year/#:~:text=Aerosoft%20assures%20the%20A330%20will%20be%20out%20for,images%20of%20its%20external%20fuselage%20and%20flight%20deck.
"As a final note for this short but sweet news update, Aerosoft is looking for real-world A330 pilots to provide some assistance with the flight model. If you’re one of these lucky few, or know someone that is, contact Mathijs directly at mathijs.kok@aerosoft.com to offer some welcome help to the development team!"

And what's that got to do with Fenix' A320? Plus it's Aerosoft, so very unlikely to be anywhere near study level.

On topic:
Techincally, the Fenix A320 is already on sale. All you need is the measly sum of £9,999,999.99 - the landing page is already live citing this price :D

They know how popular their A320 is - hence the price ;-)

Fenix A320 went live at 2000 zulu, so a few minutes ago.
Just bought it and installed it.

The thrust leavers... F3 does no small increment, it advances them to the CLB gate?

How do I make small thrust increases with the keyboard?

By default F3 is set to INCREASE THROTTLE, F2 set to DECREASE THROTTLE, and F1 to CUT THROTTLE. You can go into the default keyboard profile and make changes. There is an option for INCREASE THROTTLE (SMALL), but there is no option for DECREASE THROTTLE (SMALL).

Hopefully they lay off the malware this time.

One things for sure- this move on pricing by Fenix will make FSL keep their prices down too. I’d buy the Fenix even if I was hardly going to use it as I want to back them for making a decision like that.

Not to forget that FSLabs' A320 Neo has to compete with a completely free FBW model. Not only does it need to be better than that one, it has to be so much better that it justifies its price. The Fenix A320 has the same "problem", but at least it isn't a Neo, too.
I hope this release proves to be a success for FENIX and that they add further members of the Airbus family in the future.
