To be honest I couldn’t care less about the windows. Hopefully PMDG put their time into systems modelling etc (the important stuff) and ignored that.

But then nobody can hear me when I shout clear prop.

PMDG have Problem sending activation mails? I have bought the 737, but when I want to download, the activation mail does not arrive. Also, not in Spamfolder.

They did that so people would have something to complain about. They know how much some people love complaining. Just another sign of their great customer service if you ask me.

The email took a while to turn up for me. I bought it this morning - it probably took about ten minutes to turn up. Have you got it yet?

I reckon you should have it by now.

There's a few people having issues - one person had a second email address they tried and that one worked. It was a gmail one.

Do you have a second email address you could try? Or perhaps create a gmail account and try that?

The activation mails arrived! In fact, 5 mails arrived. Maybe they had a problem with their E-Mail server.

Have installed the 737 now and will make my first flight :-)

I bought this thing last night. Downloaded the Op Center. I have no idea how to download this thing. There are no instructions. There is nothing to indicate where or how to download this f-ing thing. Not happy. But should have known better, so my fault I guess.

Yeah - it's a process. It certainly could be easier. And i get the feeling it's all to stop piracy - which will probably not work.

Anyway - log in to your account on the PMDG website. You'll find a link to your account section at the bottom of the page.

Once you're in there you should see the order number for the 737. Click on that and you should see a button to "Download the Product".

However, you're not done yet. When you click it it will go through a process of sending, to the email address linked to your account, a verification code. You need to then enter that when it asks you and then, finally, it'll start downloading!

One thing to note - make sure you have any pop-up blockers disabled in your browser. If you have them enabled, it will seem like nothing is working and you'll get precisely nowhere. Maybe that's what's causing your issue?

I am wondering why they put the "My Account" on the bottom of the page. I expected in in the top navigation bar and not hidden somewhere below.

Weird eh. Like just about everyone else has it like you say - up the top somewhere - usually on the right. But no, not PMDG. XD

If, by "sharklets", you are referring to the scimitar winglets, they were introduced on the -800, so they aren't an option on the -700.

Actually it seems its tied to the liveries... which is kind of odd, but yeah... some liveries like the new United livery has the scimitar winglets.

Yeah - I noticed that on a stream last night. I'm guessing it's because they have tried to model real tail numbers.

But my info was sort of incorrect - the scimitar winglets were available as a retrofit - so it turns out some -700's ended up having them.

My camera game is weak but I know there some ways to do things but can't help you there personally.
TBH with you I'm kind of disappointed, I mean its going to get updated and get better, especially with the sim maturing overtime but, like seriously, they model the jump seat to be intractable but cockpit windows? nah, don't need. EFB? don't need, just put everything into CDU. Airplane cannot talk to internet so no WRX report, ATIS, Automatic Simbrief import (I believe this is on Asobo and Microsoft though). None of the circuit breakers are intractable, in the Maddog, they can pop. I honestly like the Maddog much more, its more expensive, but I felt like I got more plane out of it.
No window shades either, another thing the Maddog has.
The customization options are pretty nice though, still haven't figured how to get sharklets.
No performance calculator for take off / landing.
No passenger cabin.

Holy cow pies, NONE of that has ANYTHING to do with a STUDY LEVEL JET SIM, other than the circuit breakers, FFS.
You want an EFB or performance calculator so bad, get a ForeFlight or Jeppesen account like real pilots do.
