The throttle didn't cut out for me though, weird. But it struggled getting above 42K ft, down to 130 IAS on full throttle and not speeding up while level. The A320 performs better...
Ah, that's normal for the F18, outperformed by an airbus :)
Way better than this MSFS Gameboy Arcade version.
Same, I have no issue except how doesn't have a clue how to turn off the engine. I'm using HOTAS and have bind the setting to idle cut but the engine still running. Turn L/R generator and Batt does not affect anything.
I think this is a bug.
Just a few days ago I was coming into KPIT with the autopilot tuned to the localizer and glide slope in the snow and I lost SA and stalled short of the runway.
Of course it is.
the manual is A1-F18AC-NFM-000
To shut down the aircraft, just push the left throttle to minimum with the mouse. Keep pressing the left mouse button and press the right button for 1 to 2 seconds.
Fuel shut off should toggle to ON.
Watch the screen, bottom left on the front panel. Engine should shut down.
Same for the right engine.
Turn down of the brightness of every screen.
Turn down the alternators, and the finely the battery.
Don't forget the parking break :)
Are you sure that you actually used both throttle levers?
At first i was wondering about it being slow, i could barely catch up with some airliner at FL430. But then i have discovered that i only set throttle for one engine. The other was on idle all the time. I took off with basically one engine. After cranking up the other engine i could easily catch up with the airliner and bypass it with 550 kt or something.
