Logbook and flight time gone/reset

My internet went down today in the middle of a flight and then my PC crashed. So I got back online and started up another flight. Shortly after take off I got an in game message about packages out of date. I hit yes to update and was taken to the "press any key to start" screen. Nothing happened so I ended up forcing the program to quit through task manager.

Now after finally getting logged back into my profile, my flight hours have reset to zero and my logbook is empty. Even though my logbook says 100 hours to the next level. I probably had 70 or 80 hours.

So something got screwed up. Anyway to recover from this?

i really believe the game has been hacked... (the msfs 2020 servers) everyone is online and and the system has complete access to everyone computer???

I lost all my progress with the SU6 update. The game couldn't connect after the update, then threw me out and made me sign back into XBox Live, which send me to the accessibility screen as if it was the first time FS2020 started. All settings gone, Logbook wiped, progress was showing 0 hrs, next level 3,000 hours.

Some stats remained and at least my graphics settings and control bindings got spared, the rest wiped.

They may not be wiped rather just not loading. My guess would be that the logbooks databases are backed up periodically as this is very simple to setup. I would do it nightly or something at a set time so the most progress anyone would ever lose would be 24 hours.

A bad connection or failure to connect to the logbook servers would likely result in what you are seeing. If it did erase your logbook I would contact Asobo to see if they can get it back.

Ehh, I don't really want the logbook back until there is the ability to delete and/or modifiy entries. It was a huge mess (with a lot of test flights and debug starts polluting the database) and never worked right anyway. Always either missing take offs or landings and/or cutting flights short. Most of my world tour flights (airfield hopping) were logged as 1 take off, 16 landings...

Also all the counts and time flown never matched those in the other stat screens and were woefully below my real stats. Only about 70% of my landings were logged and less than that in actual flight time.

But I was curious what 'level' there is after reaching 3,000 hours logged. That is very far away now again. Meanwhile the logbook is already a mess again, missing landings and also take offs as usual. My last flight recorded as 50 minutes from HEGN to HECA with 0 take offs, 0 landings. It was an IFR flight from parking to gates. But I guess I drove there in 50 minutes :)

Most of the stats are a mess, it's quite baffling how bad the game is at simply recording a bunch of values.
