Eurofighter Typhoon Jet at Mach 2 Speeds, NO Sonic Boom
So i bought the 1st Mach 2 speed fighter jet

Awesome speeds and manoeuvres great

Looks wonderful though i would of expected a sonic boom as soon as the speeds reach 700mph+ or when u exceed the speed of sound.

Its a real simulator so a sonic boom would of been awesome

Eurofighter Typhoon delivers an enviable level of flexibility and efficiency. Only Eurofighter Typhoon possesses both adequate weapon availability (up to 6 bombs whilst also carrying six missiles, a cannon and a targeting pod) and sufficient processing power to simultaneously support missile in-flight updates and bomb in-flight targeting. True swing-role capability.

blah blah, wheres the sonic Boom, wanna shatter some windows

Eurofighter flight mechanics are complete BS from start to finish and supersonic mechanics are currently not in the game (but being worked on) so of course no sonic boom or similar effects.

Maybe 2022 for that.

Wait, I thought the pilot of the aircraft making the sonic boom doesent actually hear the boom since he is well out of the area when in happens. Ive been playing all different types of flight sims since the 80's and I have never ever heard a plane make a sonic boom.

Also what was stated above, there is no supersonic flight in the game yet, so sonic boom would be impossible.

Yeah but 3rd person / drone view should catch it if supersonic mechanics were in the game.

FLIGHT simulator, not FIGHTER simulator. Most fighter aircraft 'anything' in MSFS will be total ♥♥♥♥. Unless you just wanna fly around and not actually do anything. You should just go to DCS if you want anything decent to do with fighters.

At the moment it's just an aeroplane simulator, once it gets helicopters and gliders it could earn the title Flight simulator ;)

but traveling at mach 2 is supersonic or subsonic

ive gone like 1900mph

Nobody on the plane hears a sonic boom. There's a bit of a bump as you cross the sound barrier, and then you get (generally) smooth flight. You lose most sounds of the air flowing across the airframe and some engine roar. Sounds transmitted inside the aircraft - air conditioning, voices, alarms, etc. are normal.

You can go as fast as the game can be hacked to make you go: today's aerodynamic simulation in MSFS doesn't take into account supersonic air. Realistically, you should have swept delta wings, swing wings, canards, and/or scissor wings to get the best supersonic performance. These don't matter in MSFS right now. With the aerodynamic update coming in the next days/weeks/months, there should be better air modelling for Mach speeds.

I recall the devs talking about supersonic flight and I believe they teased the possibility of a Concorde. Getting better supersonic modelling is at least something they are looking at.

ok didnt know the sim wasnt ready for super speeds, though a concord will be a welcomed dlc

also the height, the highest i managed was like 43000ft, with the euro fighter i managed 60000ft, seems like i was at the edge of space

Mach2 is supersonic, but they use trickery to make you think your traveling that fast, because like I and others have stated(including the games devs), supersonic flight isnt available in the sim at this time.
