Digital Foundry says that its very close to pc,s Ultra settings...
Check their video on YT.
Further in the video they say, that there is a kind of unlock mode, wich at 120Hz screen refresh rate can give 60fps up tp 120fps..
I get 60-75 FPS 4k Ultra setting on PC after latest update. If I got to medium settings I easily get over 100fps.
Xbox is probably more medium in comparison to a PC. The True FPS on Xbox seems to be around 30fps from what I've seen. Won't be getting 60fps on xbox in major cities.
This will make a HUGE difference in the way the CPU handles all the AI elements of the game compared to the PC. You can get 60FPS no problem if you turn EVERYTHING off, like all the airport density off, aircraft variety to medium not ultra, air traffic and ground traffic off, im basically at 60FPS at 1440p on high-end around Kennedy International with a 2080 and a 3700X if I t urn that crap off but the downside is the entire world is empty and not really fun to fly around coz there is nothing, anywhere. So when you start turning any of that stuff on, you start becoming "main thread" limited still and watch that FPS start to tank. This is because the PC version doesn't have DirectX 12 yet its coming soon I guess.
Of course, if ASOBO would just damn add DLSS, we would ALL be laughing at the massive gains in performance that would bring but they seems extremely reluctant to even think about adding that and give half-ass answers whenever someones questions them on it. XBOX version is also using upscaling as well, which also helps the performance compared to the PC version.
With a PC its easier to blame the user and hardware for any poor perf but I think the improvements for PC have been overstated. We are expecting almost double but its closer to 10% which is hard to notice.
