DIsable Automatic ATC Responses
I haven't played in a couple updates thanks to the rabbit hole that is DCS, but now that I'm back it auto replies to every important air traffic control contact for me. I like to practice the responses before I select it and hear the response to check my work, and haven't found any option to disable it. Is there a way to turn this off that I am missing? Thanks in advance

Assistance Options ---> Piloting drop down ---> turn Off "AI Radio Communications (ATC)

I think that is what you are looking for. If not I'm not sure what it is at that point.

The AI control in the toolbar also has an option to toggle "Let AI control ATC" or something similar.

You can also lower the Radio Volume by VHF1.

I find if you use this AI menu, the game makes a host of changes to your Accessibility menu that allow the AI to take over several functions in flight. You have to go into that menu and turn them off if you want to maintain control.

I have no idea what you're talking about, I use it all the time.

The menu does not automate anything beyond setting COM 1 and 2 radios. I use it all the time with my only assist being taxi guidance. It does not enable any assists. This is incorrect.

Say what you will, I'm simply reporting what happened to me. Likely you have a different setup.
