Hard landings in ILS
Im trying to land the A320 Neo in ILS but every time it hits the ground so hard and flies back up. Im doing 140 knots with full flaps. Any Way of getting this on the ground in ILS with out bouncing off the run way?.

thanks.

ILS doesn't land it automatically. So you should be switching off the autopilot and touching it down yourself.

It's been described by real Pilot blogger that it enters a TOGA state in AP at 50ft to land thus it slams you into the ground. That was said to be a bug but it may just never get changed as AutoLanding was a "thing" for the A32NX. You can still keep it on until at 100ft closely followed by turning AutoThrust OFF.

BTW you do not need FULL FLAPS and 140knts is also a wrong speed by the Game for this. You might notice FLAPS 3 = "LANDING FLAPS". Reserve Full Flaps for controlling it further on/off or when you have a back wind when you shouldn't have.

Try aim for Flaps 3 and reduce AutoThrust to 122kts which is on the border to stall but is safe enough. This way you stand a better chance of a GO-AROUND before you die due to too much Flaps ;)

I've watched countless real life pilots on youtube with cockpit cams. And everyone set "full flaps" before landing. Just because it works in the sim doesn't mean it works that way in real life.

I recommend looking for "a320 landing cockpit cam" on youtube, and you will notice that landing does not take place with flap 3, but with full flaps.

To the thread creator:
Can it be that you forget to enter the correct barometer values (you got from the ATC before landing) into the computer before landing? Because then exactly what you describe happens. The plane "thinks" it is even higher than it is and crashes into the runway. Especially when barometer is set to "Std" during cruise mode, which is used by pilots.

regards

Never have i ever sat in the window seat of a real plane and witnessed the plane land with less than full flaps.

I think the only reason people are using 3/4 flaps in game is because either the plane, the flight model or the game itself is borked

Do you flare at the right time? Pull throttle down when needed? Disable autopilot before landing? Do you enter landing info into mcdu correctly?

The very reason I switched was it would never go below 140knts on FULL FLAPS before when left to AutoThrust Speed Managed and since seeing 2 real Pilots use only Landing Flaps 3 then I switched also and found it far better giving you more control, at less AOA giving better view, plus you are far more in a ready config nearer to TOGA. Try getting up and away with full FLAPS and it may get you killed. You also have the advantage to use FULL FLAPS to get you more control to play with ON/OFF if needed. I've seen far too many crazy lack of control Landings removing AP way out and ignoring PAPS to then slam her down sideways ;)
Even OVERKILL says it's a personal choice but "LANDING FLAPS 3" (it's in the title) gives you the greater control. Try it.

I always press B for that when it says and randomly press it threw out.

No i was just wanting the ILs to do it as i want a full landing looking out of window seat.

So that you know, ILS doesn't land airplanes. Mechanically ILS isn't capable of auto landing a plane. The plane needs additional systems to make this possible. The vast majority of planes that have ILS cannot auto land. So some of the reason you are getting the responses like mine and Kosmozuikis is confusion with your wording. I am not trying to pick on you, but "landing with ILS" doesn't mean auto landing.

REVER is right and so too is my 1st post on why it suddenly dives at 50ft when you should not have AP ON by then.
