About FPS increase
Reducing glass cockpit refresh from High to Low you will gain a lot of FPS, now im even using 140% render at 1920x1080 and high graphics

Yeah, it's really not even needed at anything above low anyway, and the FPS gains are worth.

What is glass cockpit refresh? Where do I find it?

Bottom of graphics settings. It affects how quickly the screens in the cockpit refresh.

Weather it be worth the FPS boost is dependent on your system and the aircraft you're flying but ideally you're going to want a high refresh rate. I run with it on high with ease using a GTX 1070 / i7-8700.

Didn't one of the patches reduce the default rate to Medium? Of course, you can set it to whatever you like. The higher the better, but frame rate is important.

It's neat that you can see the glass cockpits working when looking at your plane from the exterior view! In FSX, the glass cockpits were a major drain on fps. In Prepar3D and Dovetail, they got somewhat better. So far in MSFS, a glass cockpit isn't that big of a drain, comparatively speaking. We will see when we get our first PMDG jets, though...
